I've been thinking about the Classic #TravellerRPG Type S Scout/Courier.
A typical deck plan can be seen here : https://www.freelancetraveller.com/features/shipyard/mongoose/type-s/passcour.png and from outside, it looks like this: https://canvastemple.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image_additional&pID=175&pic=1&products_image_large_additional=images/ScoutCourier03.jpg&zenid=6ab97188493a1931f6df81e3c1f961d9
Now there is a problem with this. Look at the deck plan. Look at the line of thrust.
The walls should be floors!
But there is a solution - and one found in the real world!
Have a look at the RV Flip!

So when in atmosphere or on the ground, the fittings could be rotated one way, and in space, under thrust, the other! No messing around with grav-plates!
