Really, it's a beautiful life.

The plan today was to go swimming but my battery is definitely not charged enough for that. There will disappointment from the youngest Kid but we'll go one day after work this week instead... seems that for me, in middle age, 'Know thyself' = Know thy limits (or pay the consequences).

Instead it's stay at home day, a gentle walk day, a watering garden day, a preserving produce day. That will be enough, I think. And Kid2 comes home from a weekend away with friends, so I'm excited to see her again

Happy to be halfway through decorating.

In the walk-in closet, i'll have the dressing table in the first left corner, one set of drawers on each side of the room (left and right), as well as the clothes rail on the left. The mirror at the far end inbetween the clothes rail and the tumble dryer. Then, finally, the sofa bed still in the alcove to the right.
