With the test lead issue straightened out and the DVM reading voltages properly, was able to identify unused fuse slot #25 as being active in the rear fuse box of my car. Wired up an Anderson Power Pole (APP) cable, labeled it as 10A max, and installed the radio into the rear of the car. Will be using the BT-01 remote microphone as a BT speaker microphone / control head up front in driver/passenger positions. Ready for drive test! #HamRadio #Mobile #AnyTone

Von einem OM ein #Anytone 868 geschenkt bekommen. Lag jetzt 2 Monate nur rum. So komplett Wirr aufgebaut das alles. Also: Meine #Hytera (#codeplug von DM7DS), etwas Excel, CVS, Python und Fluchen (so wie ein wenig Wundern) später:

"VFO-Ähnlicher Codeplug" auch am Anytone. Ich muss sagen, dass das richtig Spaß macht. Am anfang war es an der Hytera ungewohnt, aber wenn man es einmal verstanden hat, ists geil :-P

Wimo informiert zum weiteren Vorgehen beim Firmwareproblem des #Anytone AT-890: Nach Einschalten erscheint Meldung „Flash error“, Funkgerät startet nicht. Problem scheint nur bestimmte Geräte zu betreffen.
Bis Anytone eine korrigierte Version veröffentlicht, empfehlen wir dringend, kein Update auf V1.03 durchzuführen. Für Kunden, die ihr Gerät derzeit nicht verwenden können, hat Anytone eine vorübergehende Lösung in Form eines Firmware-Updates „V1.04 BETA“ bereitgestellt. Download bei Wimo.

@allianceradio This follows from recent AnyTone AT-D878UV radio firmware version(s) that were removed from the release page for a variety of reasons. Bleeding edge firmware almost always has risks not present when staying a version or two back from that front. TNX & 73

Gerade habe ich von WIMO eine Update Warnung für das #Anytone 890 erhalten. Es sollen bis auf weiteres keine Updates installiert werden. Keine weiteren Hintergründe. #Amateurfunk

Update up top: firmware upgrade is only possible on Windows; no Wine.

Does anyone know if I can upgrade and program an #anytone D878UVII with Linux these days? Alternatively, is someone at #39c3 able and willing to help me and potentially explain a few things?

What I dislike about my #Anytone AT-D878UV II Plus - it is super loud even on the lowest level.

Not something super critical but scarry sometimes :D
