First chapter has several elements that make me automatically interested. Some are easier to explain than others.

1. field surgery. hell yes.

2. hella neurodivergent protag and I am here for it

3. some other miscellaneous private stuff

Anyway I'm very pleased to have FINALLY pulled this from my library wishlist. I've heard nothing but good things but that's not the same as reading it.
