Dan BooleyTonight, we move on to #anightmareonelmstreet3, and--thank fuck--it's way better than the second one. Not quite as good as the first, but it actually feels like it was made by people who cared to make a good movie. And some of the FX and set pieces are pretty phenomenal for the time. I hope the next couple of movies can keep a good momentum going, though I remember hating them, so we'll see!

After the previous film moved away from the dream world part 3 doubles down on it. Freddie isn't fuckin around this time and neither is the film, with deaths and encounters coming thick and fast. Marks the start of kills becoming more elaborate and sees crispy face ramp up his use of the word bitch. I find this entry the most enjoyable in the franchise.
