@stonebear2 I have similar strong needs for my android and sadly settled on the word app. So far it doesn't is AI infected like office 365 but I wouldn't hold my breath tgT it will sooner rather then later. Adropen office is a bad joke and can't handle more than 5 pages, also like word locks useful options behind a Login Microslop account, Adropen office, which is a port of open office, in the worst imaginable way, locks almost all free features behind a 20€ purchase. Also the program runs in an shell of an Android UI which uses key buttons on the phone but also sends them through into the program... Best way to use the app is an actual mouse and keyboard.
Obsidian sadly doesn't supports any additional add ins on my phone so I'm stuck with not being able to export my writing other than copy and paste it.
I haven't checked for foss solutions but since Android wants to dump it's open system I guess even if there is such an app that would fit one probably needs to degoogele their fon sooner rather than later.
Which in my case is extra complicated thanks to the manufacturer (Xiaomi) only releasing Chinese language versions of their PC suits from 2025 onwards...
Fingers crossed and maybe someone else knows a solution?
