Once, a curious fisherman caught a glimpse of a mermaid and fell in love with her. The mermaid felt the same and gave the fisherman an #amoret - a special knotted rope that would always lead him back to her. They spent many happy days together, but the fisherman knew he couldn't stay underwater forever. Reluctantly, he left the mermaid and the sea, but carried the love knot with him, always knowing that he only had to follow the rope back to her.
