Been absolutely obsessed with #Caillebotte ‘s 'Soldiers in the Woods' at AIC. But wow, only just noticed on visit #3 that there's a soldier with his bare bottom showing on the left! 😅

Caillebotte was really ahead of his time showing such unguarded moments. The vulnerability and naturalism… feels so real even 150+ years later.

But how did I and @ccshan miss the detail?! Anyone else have those 'how did I miss that?!' moments with artwork? #Impressionism #AlwaysSomethingNew #MuseumPup

At first I thought there were leaves poking through my dilapidated picket fence. Upon closer inspection I discovered a wasp’s nest. Last year they built one above my back door, which was startling at times, this is a much better location.
