We discussed adding back support for the 'alternate link' tag in #AntennaPod. Past versions allowed users to easily switch between e.g. a video and audio version of a podcast when subscribing.

Support for it got dropped with another change and I felt we should add back support for this long-standing standard.

Alas: it's hardly used (if at all) nowadays. I guess all video just is on YouTube now.
