「世界社会フォーラム」。

経済のグローバリゼーションをすすめる「ダボス会議」（世界経済フォーラム）に対抗するためのもので、だからこそ「もうひとつの世界は可能だ」（Alter-globalization）なんですよね。

最近、「ダボス会議」について書かれた本『ダボスマン』を少しずつ読んでいます。

少数の並外れたお金持ちの経営者たちによって世界経済が左右されるという傾向は、20年前よりもさらに強まっており、そういった資本主義の寡頭的支配ではない、搾取－非搾取ではない「もうひとつの世界」をいろんな国の仲間とともに指向していくことの必要性がさらに強くなっていると感じてます。

サッチャーは「社会なんてない」と言ったそうですが、なんでも民営化すればいいという彼女の考えが間違いだったことは、今でははっきりしています。
「社会的なもの」socialを消そうとしても、そんなことは無理なのです。
