5/5: I love Jane Austen, but I'm really not so into Romance and never got into Bridgerton, so I was really curious how I would like Mortal Follies , which I got recommended by my Kindle reader. Since I found the cover really lovely and cute, I gave the book a try.... AND I LOVED IT. I think the choice for the narrator is really inspired, always bringing comic relief into the narration when things get really dark. The plot is well paced, the literary allusions and puns are really funny, but you don't have to get them at all to follow the story. The magical elements of the story really work well,...
I've finally started 'Paris Daillencourt Is about to Crumble' by #AlexisHall after carrying it around in my bag for the last two months and I'm already loving it.
@onqueerstreet #ALadyForAdDuke is great. I read whatever #AlexisHall puts out.
I'm also going to recommend #RolePlaying by #CathyYardley. The male lead is bi and demi. He struggles with his sexual identity in the book and does come out (it's a plot point). (I REALLY love this book and I'm almost finished.)
