I’ve always been fascinated by sound mirrors, aka acoustic mirrors. These large, haunting, concrete lenticular monoliths stud the British coastline. From 1916 thru to the 1930s as a pre-radar early warning system to amplify approaching aircraft engine noise. They look amazing.
