Well after many years attending the AAA I’ve finally done it.
Me: “That panel looks great. Aw it’s at the same time as mine though.”
…
“Oh, that IS my panel.“
Come see us at 2pm today… digital environments #AAA2022 #AAA2022Seattle
Time for a bottom-up #AAA2022Seattle program: a spreadsheet that lets anthropologists share our title, abstract and other details left out from this year's online program.
Use this form to include yours: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc664kPSPsfsqi7GstRDdcUwTVX346_rajgJHpWq1HTbnTcmw/viewform?usp=fb_send_twt
As @akvbroek noted on Twitter: "It is so incredibly disappointing to have no access to paper titles/abstracts at #AAA2022Seattle. The program is such a rich snapshot of what anthros are thinking abt and working on right now and where we are heading. Now all that epistemic labor is just gone." I figured that fixing this was worth ten minutes of my time. This Google form will populate a spreadsheet, which I will make available today. The link is here, and will be posted on Twitter and Mastodon once there sheet gets populated a bit. This form offers a quick way to share your information about your paper. Please include as much information as you wish, but including date, time, and room number will make it easier for people to find you.
Echoing “Unsettling Landscapes,” the theme of the 2022 annual meeting of the American Anthropological Association, this special collection offers a window on activist struggles in sites as diverse as Iran, Ukraine, India, the United States, and the Pacific.
