I was voter number 27 at 9:54 AM in Ann Arbor precinct 5-47. There were about eight workers operating the election. I voted yes on funding for career and technical education.

If voters continue to favor early and absentee voting, maybe we can further consolidate polling places, move them out of schools, and have school again on election day?

I’m working as an election inspector today (6am to 9pm). There’s only a single question on the ballot, a county-wide school millage, and what with vote-by-mail and early voting, I’ll be surprised if we get even 20 in-person voters all day. In fact, we just got our first.
