HBMI bought a Noctua A12X25 120mm computer fan and decided to break off the original fan blades so I could test out a series of fan-made (pun intended) blade designs. Since I can 3D print these quickly, I thought it'd be fun to see which cools my new CPU (i7 12700KF) the best.
CPU hasn't been delivered yet, but I've already got quite a few fan shapes and colors to try.
This is all inspired by Major Hardware's "Fan Showdown" series on YouTube. I find the videos alright, but I wish all of the fan designs were open source or at least available for download ᛉ
