I assume that quite a few candidates can't actually vote for themselves, because they don't live in the same constituency.
We know that quite a few conservative candidates were parachuted-in, and presumably don't live locally.
But yes, I wonder how many candidates might actively vote against themselves.
Trivia question - has any candidate in a UK general election ever received zero votes? (I don't know the answer).
