New Project Alert!
Looking forward to building this at the weekend!
Another project... another rabbit hole 🕳️
My 504b is kitted out with all the optional bits... I just couldn't see those PCB footprints remaining empty!
I now have a PS2 keyboard connector and a little buzzer on the board.
And I found out that the 504b makes a beep as it starts up 🎉
Only 10mins of soldering, but almost a week of waiting for the parts delivery (yes, via Royal Mail) 😞
Having a lot of fun with my 504b!
Just 4 lines of Zer0BASIC code, taking up a whopping 47 bytes of memory, and I have a version of 10PRINT running 🎉
10 A=RND 2
20 IF A=1 GOTO 40
30 ?;"/":GOTO 10
40 ?;"\":GOTO 10
And it lives! This Minimalbyte 504b is alive!
Really enjoyed this build. Super quality PCB with a useful silkscreen... and not too difficult to solder.
Added some extra header pins and socketed the Arduino Nano R3 and OLED screen, other than that, it was as per the very straightforward instructions.
Now I have to get a keyboard or terminal on it and write some tiny Zer0BASIC programs!
Really, just how much fun can you have with a humble Nano 🤗
