Taking a break from #Vegan #Ramen and pivoting (what an ugly word!) to #Vegan #Mexican at #CalleRey #Newtown. What a wonderful banquet of flavours with jackfruit and black bean nachos, cauliflower wings, roast corn, mushroom and eggplant tacos and churros accompanied by delicious McLaren Vale organic Shiraz. Great service and reasonable prices too! #Yummo #NomNom

I made chocolate weetbix* yesterday. Not a bad first effort, but someone, some bastard, has disappeared half of them already. <looks suspiciously at mirror and shouts>"It was you, wasn't it?" <reaches for another slice, quietly sobbing>

*A chocolatey, sugary slice, made from crushed weetbix, s/r flour, butter, coconut, brown sugar, cocoa, and sultanas, following my mother in law's (RIP) recipe.
