Is she worth the wait?

Sometimes I ask myself:
Is she worth the wait?
My heart replies:
Yes, she's worth the wait!

Sometimes I ask myself:
Is she worth the wait?
My mind answers:
She will only break your heart.

My heart whispers:
You love her, fight for her!
But my mind counters:
Forget her, she won't ever _see_ you.

And my heart tells me:
She will love you, be patient.
Yet my mind insists:
Been there, done that, it was all but pain.

Ikaw ang Bituin ng Buhay Ko

Ako ay naglalakbay sa buhay na ito
Nang nag-iisa at nalulungkot
Naghahanap ng makakapiling.

Gabi-gabi'y tumitingala sa kalangitan
Hinahanap-hanap ang bituing
Nagniningning ng higit sa iba.

"Nasaan ka o aking bituing nasa langit?
"Kailan kita matatagpuan?
"Kailan ikaw ay mahahagkan?"

Sa aking paglalakbay, natagpuan din kita
Aking bituing katangi-tangi
Ang puso ko ay nagagalak.

Ang iyong mga ngiti ay nagbibigay sigla
Sa aking pusong nalulungkot
Buhay'y bumalik dahil sa iyo.

Ang iyong kagandaha'y tulad ng nagsisibol
Na Mirasol sa bawat umaga
Maginhawa't kabighabighani.

At ang iyong malumanay na tinig ay hangin
Na dala'y kapayapaan sa'kin
Paggugulumihana'y naglaho.

Ikaw ang nag-iisang bituin ng buhay ko
Pangako iibigin ka'ng lubos
Magpakailanman aking sinta.
