@wanless I'll never forget when we moved from Vancouver in 2006 and one Vancouver friend asserted, unironically, that it NEVER snows in Vancouver.

Despite having had a massive blizzard nearly every year we lived there. I wonder about how he's doing every time I hear from people that it's snowing in the GVRD again.
