@chaos0815 https://yaak.app is also a great alternative. Not a TUI... but works great, with an very active developer (original Insomia founder/dev).. was an early adopter of Yaak and it's been awesome throughout the dev cycle thus far.
Offline, git sync (optional), open-source and has been solid from the start.
@gschier cool to see your project getting more publicity!
Been using it for one year now! Great job!
I started looking for a different API client when Bruno walked back its licensing plans and started ramping up monetization. Yaak has been good to me so far, and the keyboard shortcuts are pretty nice too.

An interesting approach taken for licensing, that's "open source" but not "open contribution".
> Yaak is now open source under the MIT license and open to contribution for bug fixes only.
This still allows for benefits:
> - Open to security audits
> - Transparent functionality (no shady stuff)
> - Flexibility (can still fork and modify)
> - Runnable even if the developer disappears

Interesting case of an app (#Yaak) that decided not to open its code and wrote a blog post to explain its decision. The post triggered pushback, some abusive and some constructive. The constructive responses were so persuasive that Yaak reversed course and is now #OpenSource. Here's the story of how and why it changed its mind.

Kudos to Yaak for listening to criticism and changing its mind. Kudos to the constructive critics for staying constructive.
