Normally, of all things to expect from a lighthearted platformer from 2011, a potential reference to the 2008 George W. Bush shoe-throwing incident is not one of them, but since this game references other relative recent topics, like the mode "2 girls, 1 controller" and a note from the FDA about how the over-usage of antibacterials in cattle food could cause the rise of drug resistant super-bacteria, I guess it's only fitting

I've decided to put aside High Treason, the expansion levels are a bit hectic for me as now, and opened up #MsSplosionMan a 2d platformer from the #XBLA era (though I'm playing it on Steam), 2 hours in, so far so cutesy, lighthearted and quirky in that typical attitude of the early 10s

For those who don't know the game, I've recorded a video of one of the first levels.

The aim is to help people escape from disaster areas (fire, etc.). The difficulty is well balanced, it's a lot of fun and I really like the atmosphere! πŸˆβ€β¬›

(#ICYMI) For #Switch Funday i went back to the #N64 and #BlastCorps from #Rare. it's a game i had played as a kid but got stuck. As an adult, i got stuck again! it feels like an #XBLA game. i didn't have much fun trying it again. wouldn't recommend.

Dusting off my Xbox in effort to prepare for the 360 server shut down at the end of July. As I own a PS4 and Switch, I obviously let my subscription to Live lapse some time back.

Getting back in to the account wasted an hour last night, and I was finally able to reset my password and log in just now.

I was like, I need to spend that $5.40* I have left.

As it turns out, I only have $0.54 .

Anyone know if there are games in the store selling for that cheap?

Yeah. I'm not sure what state I can leave my 360 in, ... But as long as my Popcap (Bejeweled 3, Peggle, Zuma) games and anything else still works after, I'm good.

* Ok. Close to this. I knew I had at most $5.00 . Which could have possibly been something, especially given the closing discounts.
