I've reaching my #writinggoal of 500 words a day every day (except for 3 days of my 5 day cruise) since I started it on January 12. This week, I kept my 500 word goal on my fiction project but added another 500 # wordgoal to start working on my blog and blog posts again.

Look for more soon

3 days in a row of hitting my #writinggoal. It really does motivate me to find those little moments to write. #writingcommunity #amwriting

Already reached the daily writing goal and the evening is still ahead. 😊

I have to get the final version of my book The Butler loaded, so I am in editing mode. Have two more chapters of the detailed edit left and I have started the edit where I listen to the book which helps catch those pesky errors where you meant one word but typed a different one (like Brain instead of Brian to choose a not so random example.) Starting Wednesday, I will start the second developmental edit on The Duchess (second book of the duology) so I can have it ready for the May 1 publishing date. I will also get back to some short drafting session on Gelb's Story because just editing is tedious!!

Set myself a #WritingGoal with a friend. We’re both attempting to complete a #WritingChain of 100 days, with a minimum word count of 250 words per day. I’m hoping it gets me firmly into a good habit of writing regardless of what my mood is. Anyone else doing this? #AmWriting

Finally getting close to the halfway mark of my WIP. I’m speeding up - slowly - now I’ve done some more planning, plotting and characterisation.

Recent good news about The Redeemer and some amazing publicity opportunities are nudging me forwards.

This evening is going to be a ‘plan & plot’ night. It won’t be about the word count. I’m stumbling in the dark too much.

How do you plot & plan your crime novel?
