After viewing that video, I'm reconsidering my perpetual moan that First Bus is actually #WorstBus; compared to Bangladesh, Bath ain't too badly off.

I recall from my flight training many moons ago that airline pilots are taught to smack the bird down on the tarmac; it's not a proper landing unless they've left rubber on the runway...

Similarly, I sense many horseless omnibus drivers in #Bath are taught their brakes are digital. And binary. The brakes are either fully off or fully on, with no intervening gradations.

And I have the bruises to prove it.

@wood5y I nearly got caught out again (after I tooted) at the stop by Electricity House. Parked up buses blocking the stop (again) so had to stand in the road to flag one down. Nearly missed it but as we pulled away there were people frantically trying to get the driver's attention.

My toot was originally inspired by the m2 being repeatedly cancelled when I've tried to catch it this week and today facing full BadgerLine routes not stopping (obviously) to pick up in Howells.

None of these journeys were in the rush hour: mid morning or mid afternoon.

Between #WorstBus #motorists and the disgracefully ineffective #WECA the #bus users of #Bristol are being ignored, mistreated and gaslit!
