There's a Worcester municipal (preliminary) election coming up and early voting is going on now.

From the Telegram & Gazette:
In-person early voting for the preliminary election is underway at Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square.

Voters from all precincts in the city can vote at the library through Friday, Aug. 29. Hours are Monday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The preliminary is Sept. 2.

The preliminary ballot is light, with two races. The races for at-large city councilor and District E School Committee are the lone ones requiring a preliminary.

The general election is Nov. 4.

Worcester Sucks and I Love It
So, that was weird. I'm in district 5, so I was prepared to vote for the district 5 city councilor. It turns out I'm now also in district E, so I had a school committee candidate to vote for, too. I wasn't prepared for that.
