Yes Nail Club on #WomanInMusic, naturally. Just a single woman making so impressive, dirty, direct, rough, lofi, sexy (yes I admit it!), and of course female music! Which sounds like it comes from the early 80s new wave industrial underground while honestly something like this didn't really exist back then. I. e. I'd wish, Anne Clark's first productions would have been so intense!
And btw. with lofi I don't mean lofi as in lofi lounge music - whoever slapped this tag on that kind of escalator music and made it stick, that's so wrong! I mean lofi as in recording on noisy cassette tape recorders using cheap noisy microphones and noisy delay effects!
You can check this by yourself, the Bandcamp link is right above in the OP. Normally I would recommend some track, but it doesn't matter. Every single track has this intense vibe.
And then again: No Wikipedia entry :( . You can enter "Nail Club music" into the search engine of your choice and she will be all over it: Streaming services, YouTube, Discogs, RateYourMusic, various interviews… it's all there.
Because Wikipedia is always arguing with the term "irrelevant". Why are there so many more lame ass male "musicians" there, but not her?!
