More than 10 thousand prisoners in Wisconsin have tested positive for COVID, and 23 have died.
There is only one way to slow the spread of this deadly disease, and it’s to issue mass clemency, commutations and pardons.
Outside the Governors Mansion in Madison, Wi community members gathered for a vigil for the 19 prisoners who have died because of Tony Evers’ inaction and refusal to release incarcerated people.

When dealing with a disease that requires the closure of restaurants and bars, and an end to close quarters gatherings, the state refuses to acknowledge that mass release campaigns are the ONLY answer to the question: how do we stop the spread of COVID behind bars?
or they don’t give a fuck about incarcerated people...

The Wisconsin DOC has now admitted that 10 people have died of Covid while being “in their care.”
