Ross's red-pill moment in the final episode of the original series of Poldark (1975):

Ross (Robin Ellis): "There will come a time Demelza..when I shall never hear your voice again, or you mine..I find that intolerable..The thought that one day, turned into rottenness.."

Demelza (Angharad Rees): "You cannot think that way..Tomorrow doesn't exist. There can only ever be now."

Loved this version based on the novel series by #WinstonGraham. Tempted to read the five remaining novels.
