#WilsonEffect #Sunspot #StereoImage
Sunspots approaching the sun's limb appear to be sunken in the middle.

I made a stereo image from two frames taken from the video here πŸ”—https://www.spaceweather.com/archive.php?view=1&day=11&month=05&year=2025

The surface of the sun around the sunspot appears like a five-petal flower slightly risen above the surface, showing the Wilson effect.

The first image is to be looked at with crossed-eyes for the stereo effect to appear.
The second image requires red/cyan glasses.
