I have a huge backlog of raw (NEF) nature photos to process, probably with darktable. What are some good resources or rules of thumb for standard edits? How do you know that what looks OK to you is actually a reasonable color grading, for example?
Especially with wildlife photos, I want to capture the vibrance and vivacity of a scene, but I don't want to accidentally misrepresent what what I saw with unrealistic colors.
