Zwischen Steinen und Moospolstern blüht das wilde Stiefmütterchen. Die zarten Blüten wirken im rauen Umfeld fast fehl am Platz. Sie sind ein unerwarteter Farbtupfer in der kargen Landschaft. Es ist erstaunlich, wie robust manche Pflanzen hier sind.

I went for another casual evening stroll, this time through the Pitäjänmäki, Pajamäki and Vermo neighborhoods in Helsinki and Espoo. The weather was mostly sunny and somewhat warm today. I spotted some wild pansies – classic beauties – growing on cliffs. A while later I spotted myself in a window.

Damn, there is so much to see and photograph in the spring. I wish I had more time...
