Watched #AvatarFireAndAsh on #imax 3D and although it felt more.like the greatest hits of the first two movies, leave it to Cameron to make a 3+ hour fulm seem.like a brisk 90 minute one. As.always the action, the visuals.and #VFX were stunning. Loved Varang #WetaFX

Noticed that the #ILM credits were way longer than anticipated.

Also I got a nifty lenticular card.out of it (they now charge extra to rent the 3D glasses) #movies

Look, I won't watch "Predator: Badlands" - I'm not mad, but to me it both looks & feels fucking ridiculous; the pred wasn't designed, as a story-telling creature, for this.

- but it looks great & creative & that does make me mad. There really is an originality crisis in Hollywood, but not at the artist level; this could easily have been a cool original story & not the 12th-time-reheated leftovers from another, long gone success.
