It’s done. Disassembled and body cleaned, brass parts polished up, fretboard oiled, electronics checked, restringed with some nice flatwounds, truss rod tweaked, string height fixed and intonation corrected.

Current project: a little bit of TLC on this Westone Thunder 1 bass which I’ve had for about 35 years now. Japanese made in the Matsumoku factory, this one was built in 1984 and is the passive version, with an ash, maple and walnut body, and a rosewood fingerboard. It’s all original, apart possibly from the nut, although I’m not sure about that - I certainly haven’t changed it.
