I can't get over their "hairdos" 😄 I met these two yesterday when I participated in an excursion to the Laajalahti bay. It is a large wetland and a nature reserve in eastern Espoo. It's one of the better locations for birders in the Helsinki metropolitan area. We walked leisurely through the trails of the nature reserve and visited two observations towers. But I think the cows were the main attraction. They have been "employed" to keep the coastal meadow suitable for waders and other birds. I saw several herons, swans, ducks, black-tailed godwits and a western marsh harrier. I even got my first okayish photo of it.
