Yesterday’s ‘see-through’ BLMC ADO16 estate seemed to be popular, so here’s another cutaway, this time of the original Mini - an early version as you can tell from details such as the external door hinges. Once again, the space-efficiency of the transverse-engined Issigonis designs is very apparent. Snapped at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon in 2023.
