I’ve pulled about 10 wheelbarrows full of creeping bentgrass (Elymus repens) by hand from the meadow near the edge of the manure pile. It’s a pretty stubborn plant. But I’ve got it well under control now. You have to carefully remove every single strand by hand so that it doesn't sprout again.
The dry soil made it a little easier.
