Having taken this morning's #BBC #WeatherWatcher photo, I discover the one I took yesterday was an "Editor's Pick".

I've checked all the #LookEast broadcasts for yesterday and it wasn't used. Could it have been used on a national broadcast that I missed?

On Wednesday morning, thanks to the excitement of being #home, I forgot to reset my #location in the #BBC #WeatherWatcher app. I posted my report as if I was still in #Dorset.

Minutes later I discovered it was an Editor's Pick, which probably means it was used to illustrate the weather on #SouthToday the local BBC programme and some 160 miles from where the picture was taken.

I reposted my picture with a correct location, meaning to look later to see whether it had been used on the show. I didn't make time to do that and local programmes disappear from the BBC web site within 36 hours of broadcast, so I'll never know if the image was shown in error.

This morning's #BBC #WeatherWatcher photo from here in the #NewForest makes me glad I'm in #Dorset.
At least it was #sunny here in the #NewForest for this morning's #WeatherWatcher photo!

My first #BBC #WeatherWatcher picture from the #NewForest area. We'll be here till after the weekend.

It wasn't deliberately near #monochrome!

As soon as my eyes moved from the phone to view the scene, after taking #todays #BBC #WeatherWatcher picture, I realised I must have had the #heron in the frame of the #photo I had just taken.

I then switched to my #camera to get a better #close-up.

Later in the day Diana spotted a bird on our feeder which she didn't, at first, recognise. A Greater Spotted #Woodpecker.

My #bbc #WeatherWatcher photograph for this morning and this evening's sunset.
I normally only post one #BBC #WeatherWatcher photo each day, but, today, I felt the #calm conditions, sharp #reflections and pink #clouds made it worth posting a second.
We seem to be in a pattern of alternating grey days and #sunny #days. Here's this morning's #BBC #WeatherWatcher upload.

I'm still days behind when it comes to telling you what's been on my mind!
On Sunday we got locally famous! One of my #BBC #WeatherWatcher uploads was used for the backdrop behind the presenter on BBC #LookEast forecasts on the evening and late night broadcasts.
