We live on one end of a fourplex apartment building with wood siding. We have acquired, through no effort or fault of our own, a woodpecker. We have also acquired, in our defense, a cheap but effective squirt gun.

Fortunately the use of this squirt gun is not regulated by the Migratory Bird Act of 1918.

Unfortunately, the woodpecker does not take a hint.
