Start following the hashtags (also #amateurradio ) Most YouTubers I watch are youngish males, but my go-tos are #WaveTalkers and #HamRadioCrashCourse - they cover basic to niche, so you’ll need to pick and choose episodes until things start making sense. They both have “study sessions” to help you pass your test(s). I assume there must be many resources in and around Portland. Hopefully others will chime in.

Prior to tomorrow's show at 1pm PACIFIC send a Winlink Check-In using the standard Winlink Check-In form to: W0DHG;NR6V;KM6RFB;W6AH;WAVETALKERS
To complete the challenge, set up a portable Winlink station and using emergency power and no internet, send your check-in via any RF means: VARA FM, VARA HF, Packet, Pactor, MESH, etc.
In the comments field of the form, let us know what your operating conditions are. We will map all of the check ins that come in prior to show time as a separate map live during the episode.
