Sam, Andrew and Lucy medal at Waterloo Scout Shooting Competition

Last weekend club members Sam Coward, Andrew Coward and Lucy Woodland represented Heath Hayes Scout Group at the Waterloo Shooting Competition at Millride Scout Camp near Crewe.

Shooting air rifle, air pistol and crossbow over two days, Andrew collected a full set of medals, winning gold in the Under-12 Aggregate, silver in the U12 spring pistol and bronze in the U12 PCP air rifle events.

Lucy collected a pair of bronze medals in U12 PCP pistol and U12 crossbow, whilst Sam collected a bronze medal in the Over-18 sprung pistol match.

Waterloo is a national scout shooting competition attended by over 300 competitors. 9 events were shot over a 2 day period with all competitors camping at the venue.
