#help Hello, j'ai un gros problème #WaterFox ET #Firefox vraiment très étrange.
>Sur des sites marchands variés (dont plein de petites boutiques indés), des articles s'ajoutent, se supprime ou se modifient en nombre du panier
>Sur #wordpress , en édition, chaque clic fait supprimer des pages ou des articles (parfois irrémédiablement car elles ne passent même pas par la corbeille)
>Même sur des logiciels + niche comme la caisse de @paheko , il y a des notes qui se créent intempestivement.
J'avais ce pb sur firefox, et puis j'ai changé pour waterfox mais le problème est resté. Entre temps j'ai réinstallé tout mon ubuntu mais ça n'a pas changé
Ce n'est pas quelque chose associé à mon compte sur les cas précédemment cités, car quand je change de pc je n'ai pas de problème
Je ne sais même pas quels mots-clés choisir pour troubleshoot  

edit: j'ai l'impression que c'est un problème aussi lié à ce que des fois des sites affichent parfois un blocage comme sur cette capture d'écran

edit 2: effacer les cookies n'y a rien fait,
Cependant le problème n'existe pas sur Chromium (même si j'ai 0 envie d'utiliser chromium)

edit 3: À priori j'ai trouvé grâce à @jenesuispasgoth que c'est l'extension hooverZoom V2.128.1 qui pose problème ! (j'adore le fediverse :) )

Since #Mozilla is determined to shoot itself in the foot (see https://www.mozilla.ai), I decided to switch from Firefox to the privacy-first fork, #Waterfox, as my main browser.

The transition was super easy (Mozilla sync works with it!) and I am surprised by how responsive websites feel again! 🤯

Wild to think just a couple of years ago, #mozilla was a relative pioneer in moving a major brand to their own #mastodon instance.

They have since shut down nearly everything except Firefox itself, and their AI garbage has driven me to switch to #Waterfox on all my devices, as I see nothing good coming from the company in the near future. I hope I am wrong, but the CEO would have to leave first.

   I figured out https://noai.duckduckgo.com's search suggestions so you don't have to!   

I have been using noai.duckduckgo.com for a few weeks now but not having search suggestions in my browser's URL bar was killing me... so I fixed it!

⚠️ I tested it on Firefox and derivates, but it should work similarly con Chromium-based browsers.

If you wanto to search with DuckDuckGo with their NOAI domain, open your browser's settings, go to Search, find the Search Shortcuts table (first picture) and press the "Add" button. There, fill the following rows:

- Name: DuckDuckGo (noai)
- URL: https://noai.duckduckgo.com/?q=%s
- Keyword (optional): @d
- Suggestions URL: https://ac.duckduckgo.com/ac/?type=list&q=%s

You'll need to press the "Advanced" button to find the Suggestions URL field. Save the search engine, go to the top of the page, select "DuckDuckGo (noai)" as your default search engine and that's it!

You should now have search suggestions for https://noai.duckduckgo.com. As simple as that! You can use the same suggestions URL in your phone's browser as well
