Wapuu + Labubu = Wabubu?

As WordCamp US approaches, I reflect on a mashup idea combining Wapuu, the WordPress mascot, and Labubu, a character from POP MART. Inspired by seeing Labubus on the beach boardwalk, I collaborated with ChatGPT to visualize a “Wabubu” as a blend of both characters. The design concept features Wapuu’s appealing body and Labubu’s mischievous facial traits, including a wide grin and unique ears. I explored various artistic interpretations and am now excited to hear which Wabubu variant resonates most with others for potential merchandise ahead of the event.
