Eighty-one years ago this month, Moro (Philippine Muslim) volunteers in an American army turned back a Japanese invasion force assaulting the southern #Philippines. Remarkably, their only weapons were swords because their American commanders refused to issue them scarce firearms. When the Americans surrendered months later, the Moro kept fighting. #MoroWarrior is the untold story of their amazing exploits.
