Okay so I have the basic sketch done for the most part. I’m not inlove with her chest feathers, too uniform. I feel like I need to change sizes, make some bigger. The rays from behind her head are a little wonky and I painted over some inked branches that I changed my mind about. I may make the berries more fuzzy. Overall I am satisfied with this. I may tweak a few more things before I transfer to watercolor paper, probably hot press. I really want the background to be light colored. The birds to be dark. I mostly want to do very light greys, off whites, light golds in background. And the berries may be red or I might go a mauve purple.
