Here's the gouache paintings to start my sketchbook with. I love Alphonse Elric and I loved these screenshots from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Gouache has always been my comfort art medium as I've been practicing it since I was a kid (it was the most common art supply where I lived) and I'm getting back into it after many years of not doing anything. I really want to improve techniques soon. Gouache is great and playing around with himi gouache has been a blast so far.

For the second one my dumb ass painted over the sketch of Al with opaque paint and I lost my guiding lines. That was very unfortunate.

I'm really new to digital art, and drawing in general, but here's a little #AlphonseElric I drew! I had a lot of fun following along with @JohnMcdevitt's Anime faces A-Z, and intended to try my own hand at it, but considering how long it took me to do this one and then actually remember to post it, I'm not sure how far I'll get xP
