This is the house in Sighisoara Romania. He was born here while his father was in exile.
At the time of his birth this was a single story house. Today it is used as a tourist site and Cafe.

The the REAL Castle Dracul in Poenari Romania.
The castle lies in ruin due to earthquakes. This was the passage from Wallachia, the principality of which Prince Vlad III Tepes ruled, to Transilvania.
Poenari was the last line of defense from the Ottoman for cities like Brasov.
Poenari is located on the Arges River outside of Bucharest. I am not sure of the distance. But about an 90 minutes drive.
