Got my kilt on today — literally!
Spent the day at the Victoria Highland Games with my sweetheart, my son, and his fiancée. The ferry ride over was cold and damp, but it cleared up beautifully for the games.
This was the 162nd Victoria Games — the longest running Highland Games in North America, and (I did not know this) apparently the longest continuously running games in the world.
We also stopped at the Malahat Skywalk before heading home. The wind was cold and blustery up top today, but it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Now time for some much needed sleep.
