Watched 'The Banshees of Inisherin' (Martin McDonagh, 2020) on #VRTMAX . A beautifully filmed, and well acted movie about male friendship and loneliness. And it proves that a movie doesn't need to last two hours or longer to be good.

People from my country Belgium (Flanders more specifically) might remember the series 'Kapitein Zeppos'. (1964-...)

In the first episode of the series, we see a wink towards Jour de Fête and L'Ecole des facteurs by Tati, the famous cycling tourists scene.
I filmed the fragment, hope it is clear.

Oh, great: Drive (2011, Nicolas Winding Refn) is on #VRTMAX. Had to take that opportunity to rewatch it after all those years. Not as flawless as I remembered it, but still very very good.
And if my memory serves me right, I saw Ryan Gosling next in The Place Beyond The Pines (2012) and Only God Forgives (2013). What a streak of excellent #movies.
