Torno a postate su livello segreto dopo parecchio tempo a causa del lavoro e di qualche problemino di salute... Come al solito sono stato al mercatino del sabato dove 9 volte su 10 non si trova nulla... La decima può però essere la volta buona... Un #sega #mastersystem II in stato dignitoso ed un #msx #vg8020 il tutto a 10 euro cadauno!!! Non resta che testarli ed eventualmente ripararli ... #retrocomputing #retrogaming

TIL that the #Philips #VG8020 #composite #video output is *not* the same as the one on the #Sony #HitBit series. One would have thoght that the #MSX standard would have taken these into account as well?!

So the #VG8020 #MSX is alive and I was able to play #Salamander from the cartridge and even use a #Megadrive compatible gamepad. Sort of. However many keys are non-functioning and the cartridge ports are spotty.

Hoping to get some time later today to open it up.
