The view from our hotel room is... typically urban, but I do see some trees in the distance. A lot of homelessness around and more aggressive begging than we're used to, or comfortable with, coming from the rural countryside of France. Montreal had its fair share too, but the brutality of it there is masked somewhat by the masses of tourists. So far, I don't think the same can be said of Saskatoon.
